Sažetak
The paper presents new precast reinforced concrete (R/C) floor and roof structures “ White Ceiling” and “ Grey Ceiling” . In both systems the bearing structure consists of double RAN girders while the main distinction consists in the type of filling. In White Ceiling structure it consists of blocks of aerated concrete, while in Grey Ceiling it consists of two concrete elements, a down block (kadica) and an upper block (poklopnica). The static system for both structures due to the specific design is a small-ribbed grid R/C structure with a composite compressive plate. The structural system can be hand-made or by using building equipment. The precast element mass is 5 - 60 kilos made from micro-grain concrete M25 and reinforced by double RAN girders and deformed bars. The precast system is capable of spanning large openings and supporters are needed for spanning over 2.80 meters. The “ White Ceiling” has been in use since 1997 while “ Grey Ceiling” has been used since 1999. Both types of structures have been patented in Croatia, Slovenia and many other European countries.
