Sažetak
Four species of genus Hypericum (Hypericaceae): H. hirsutum L., H. maculatum Crantz, H. montanum L. and H. perforatum L. which are native in Croatia and two cultivated species H. androsaemum L. and H. calycinum L. were compared on the basis of restriction patterns of amplified cpDNA fragments to elucidate their phylogenetic relationships. Eight restriction pattern obtained by 4 amplified regions of cpDNA after digestion with two restriction enzymes were analyzed. Restriction pattern was identical among individuals (10 to 12 per species) of the same species, while considerable degree of interspecific polymorphism was detected. The dendrogram obtained from cluster data analysis demonstrates high species specificy of the cpDNA structure. Linkage distances among these species are in accordance with evolutionary diagram based on morphological, ecological and citogenetical criterions.
