Sažetak
In this paper, the authors represent a hypothesis that the ecological agriculture of Croatian islands and coast is integrative with tourism and the rest of the estate and that it can have a positive influence on the exploitation of already economically passive region or a region with few estative alternatives. Development of the ecological agriculture and its contribution in Croatian island and coastal estate can produce many economic, financial, sociologic, demographic and other effects. In that way, new production possibilities and new jobs are offered to the local population and familial agricultural estates. It has a positive influence on tourism and estate in global terms too, also protecting the healthy environment, which is a matter of big local, national and international interest.
