Sažetak
Actinic keratosis (AK) is extremely common precancerous cutaneous lesion [1]. AK was initially considered precancerous or premalignant, because it presents no invasion into the dermis. We examined immunohistochemically the P53, BCL-2 and GHR positivity in twenty-five specimens of AAK taken from regularly sun-exposed skin in 13 male and 12 female patients, older than 60 years (mean age 72.8 years). Nuclear staining for P53 was detected in all 25 (100%) investigated AAK specimens. IHC staining for BCL-2 was detected in all investigated AAK (100%). GHR was determined in 36% of investigated HAK specimens and GHR positivity was significantly lower than in NS [6]. On contrary to finding in HAK, this investigation detected GHR positivity in 80% of investigated AAK lesions. Statistical correlation showed no differences of GHR positivity in AAK compared to NS (c2-test, p>0.05). Detected significant differences of GHR positivity in atrophic AK, compared to hypertrophic AK, imply that differences on molecular level could reflect distinctive pathohistological pictures of AK types. Investigations of various other proto-oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes are needed in order to support this hypothesis.
