Sažetak
New procedures developed for 3D approximation of garment cutting pattern are described. Determining the parameters of 3D cutting patterns developed and modelled, basis is created for the development of a new method for transforming 3D cutting patterns into 2D cutting parts. The method is based on a mathematical algorithm, which makes possible to calculate the values of all the necessary parameters and to perform a systematic sequence of transformations of 3D cutting pattern contour segments. The transformations result in highly precise 2D cutting parts for a garment model, initially designed on a 3D computer body model.
