Sažetak
In the chapter all aspects of breast ultrasonography are discussed: equipment requirements for breast US, examination technique, normal breast anatomy and sonographic anatomy. Ultrasonographic features of benign breast lesions are presented, as well as of malignant and inflammatory lesions. US guided FNAC and FNCB are discussed, as well as Doppler imaging and 3D-imaging in breast evaluation. Postoperative and postirradiation changes are presented, and the place of US in the algorithm of diganosing breast lesions is discussed.
