Sažetak
This presentation discusses the role of the digital media in the current process of destruction of the traditionally defined urban form. The reasons for the disappearing sense of the city as a unified space are discussed first. Following that, social and cultural phenomena connected with the introduction of digital technology are outlined, and their potentially positive role in a creation of the urban identity is highlighted.
