Sažetak
The structure of textile industry varies from one industrial application to the other and it is difficult to define a typical textile effluent. Thus, pollutional characteristics must be defined in relations to the production processes. In this work the ion chromatography method for monitoring of inorganic anions was suggested. The wastewaters investigated in this study were obtained after bleaching, washing and neutralizing of cotton thread. Wastewaters were analyzed by ion chromatography method. The Dionex DX600 chromatography system with gradient pump (GS 50), electrochemical detector (ED50), ionPac AS14 (4-mm) column, ionPac AG14 (4-mm) guard column, anion atlas electrolytic suppressor (AAES) were used in all experiments. Whole system was computer controlled. Next anions were found: fluoride, chloride, nitrate and sulphate. It can be concluded that IC method is a very good method for monitoring anions in textile wastewaters with better separation of anions with shorter analysis time.
