Sažetak
This paper addresses problem of the coherence bandwidth assessment applying the Uniform Geometrical Theory of Diffraction (UTD) for a typical single-floor indoor environment. Many authors developed different algorithms for application of UTD theory, but each of these alghoritms suffers from some shortcomings, so that the question how to apply UTD in proper manner for a defined problem still remains open. For prediction of coherence bandwidth, as a significant radio parameter for broadband systems, we employed ray-tracing simulation with rays' scattered only once, in order to investigate how this simple simulation might be accurate. The results of simulation are compared width results available from measuring campaign, performed earlier inside FESB-building, using vector network analyzer method at 900MHz. Obtained results shows that accuracy of simulation depends on number of single-scattered rays presented on a given profile. The more rays included in the simulation the better accuracy.
