Sažetak
Population dynamics of 1482 specimens of painted comber, Serranus scriba (Linnaeus, 1758), caught in the Trogir Bay area (eastern mid-Adriatic) from June 2001 to May 2002 were studied to provide information on age, growth, length-weight relationship, mortality and exploitation rate of the species stock. Annuli on otholiths indicated the presence of seven age classes. Obtained von Bertalanffy growth parameters were: LĄ= 30.36 cm, K=0.192 year-1 and t0= - 0.366.
