Sažetak
The environmental pollution through adhesives and varnishes used in wood technology is an issue resulting from the increasing application of synthetic adhesives and varnishes. Presented are some adhesives or their components that are particularly hazardous for human health. Besides establishing the allowed concentrations in air and water for certain harmful substances, we have also described the methods of avoiding these problems. The environmentally friendly materials and processes used in surface treatment are presented. A separate issue is thinner emission from finished products.
