Sažetak
The article discussed the most important constructional interrelationships of furniture designed for sitting and lying from the point of view of human anthropometry, physiology and orthopaedics. Differences in requirements of the two functional groups of furniture were emphasised.
The importance of these interrelationships for the proper process of designing of furniture adjusted to human requirements was stressed.
