Sažetak
The basic purpose of formability modelling is the defining of mathematical models that are indispensable for simulation and determination of the formability limit of metals, that is, the limiting degree of deformation in forming processes. The results obtained indicate that the formability limit of metals is a great extent dependent on the state of stress in the deformation zone of workpiece. In this paper the results of formability modelling are given and the method to obtain the mathematical formulas for the state of stress index and the limiting degree of deformation, which has an exceptional importance in the planning the forming processes.
