Sažetak
Application of mathematical and statistical methods during the design of experiments (DOE) has allowed modeling and simulation of machining process using experimental data. In the paper is presented obtained mathematical model of cutting force using development software (MODSIM - MODeling & SIMulation) in order to achieve optimization of observed turning process. The obtained tool loading model describe very well the real machining process. Comparison of results obtained by experimental research, defined model and simulation has given acceptable and adequately reliable results.
