Sažetak
Eosphorite and childrenite are the end-members of a series in which site occupancies are still doubtful. The Al octahedron contains two oxygen atoms, two OH groups and two water molecules, whereas the more distorted (Mn, Fe) octahedron contains four oxygen atoms and two OH groups.
