Sažetak
The author discusses the impacts that the war in 1990s had for Croatian diasporas' homeland-related sentiments and actions. Some examples of the personal narratives of Croatian refugees from Bosnia-Herzegovina are presented. They are compared to the narratives of the Croats living in Sweden for several decades. Although people quoted are co-ethnics who occupy an equal legal position in Sweden (being Swedish citizens), their narrations on home and homeland show considerable differences.
