Sažetak
The paper deals with innovative metaphors from the corpus of H. James's novels based on image schemata with special emphasis on the relevance of axiological dynamism embodied in these schemata. The analysis includes the metaphors of spatial imagery and the mappings from the domain of physical properties of materials onto the domain of person's character as well as the mappings from the domain of perception onto the domain of cognition.
