Sažetak
As a transitional country, the Republic of Croatia is positioned amidst a national postwar reconstruction period and reformatory operations in its economic tissue. Simultaneously, the country is understandably forced to adjust to the global trends, but many thereof represent its relatively major challenges. One of the greatest challenges is the globalization process, which the Republic of Croatia has to indubitably track, being actively incorporated herein. As a market competition has both its perils and challenges, globalization has to be also comprehended as a sort of a challenge whereto the economic entities have to provide a concrete response, whereby marketing might render its considerable assistance, especially in a search for strategic and long-term solutions.
