Sažetak
During the 19th century various medical atlases were supposed to be the "institutions" of objectivity, documenting the visible phenomena without verbal human interpretation. From all the medical disciplines dermatology is one in which the visual aspect was (and is) of prime importance, thus atlases became important teaching tools. In this presentation analysis of different approaches to their content will be given starting from most prominent earliest atlases to those of the early 20th century.
