Sažetak
In its history the city paid great attention to culture and the result can be seen in the erecting of numerous cultural and historical objects preserved unit the present day. These objects are classified as galleries, museums, theatres, concert halls, collections, churches, chapels, monuments, etc. GIS of cultural and historical objects in the centre of the City of Zagreb is made by means of the program OCAD. The produced GIS gives the data about the position of each cultural and historical object at the territory of the centre of Zagreb, but also the basic data about the foundation year, significance, basic and accompanying activity, fund, major exponents, repertoire, authors etc. for the selected objects. The visualisation of the produced GIS is achieved by producing an adequate thematic map.
