Sažetak
Particulate matter (PM10 particle fraction) and trace gases (CO, NO and NO2) have been sampled during 6 weeks in the Tuhobić tunnel, third longest tunnel in Croatia, whose length is 2140 m. Eight Mini Portable Air Samplers (Air metrics, USA) were placed in the centre of the tunnel, at the height of 1.70 m above the ground. PM10 samples were collected on a Whatman quartz filters with the diameter of 47 mm, while gases were collected in Tedlar bags. Diurnal variations of pollutant concentrations for weekdays and weekend were determined based on 4- and 8-hours sampling intervals, respectively. Dependency of particular pollutant concentration on other pollutants levels was investigated. Additionally, relationships between the pollutant concentrations and a traffic density were examined.
