Sažetak
In 2003 the Croatian Engineers Association with Croatian Geodetic Society, as one of its 27 members, celebrates 125 years of existence. In this occasional paper, the contribution of geodesy to the society in the past 125 years is explained. It describes the history of Croatian Geodetic Society, the organization of geodetic administration in Croatia, basic geodetic networks, geodetic surveys, geodesy in civil engineering, geodetic companies, science, the school system, publishing activities, acknowledgements and awards. The paper ends with the reference to the future prospects.
