Sažetak
The paper gives the research results on the influence of the shape of stylus needle and types of skid in measuring the surface roughness using a stylus instrument. The measurement was carried out on six specimens; two with a rectangular, two with a wavy and two with an irregular groove shape, with approximate roughness parameter values Ra of 0,4 um, and 0,8 um. The surface roughness parameter Ra was measured using seven different stylus tracing systems.
