Sažetak
The Lower Sarmatian deposits of the southwestern slopes of the Psunj Mt. have been characterised by a regular rhythmic alternation enables distinguishing of numerous lithological sequences. Lithological characteristics of the sequences occur more or less constant. On the other hand, their thicknesses vary in general, as well as the thicknesses or frequency of particular lithological members. The macrocycles with greather or smaller quantity of the sandy component have been separated within the Lower Sarmatian deposits. Rhythmic alternation, abundance of internal and external structures, their regular occurences as well as fossil content indentify characteristic sequence of this deposits with Ta-e intervals of a turbidity one.
