Sažetak
The numerical simulation of solidification of a sphere has great practical importance, since any casting with curves surfaces can be modeled on the same principles. In this paper the equality of cooled surfaces of sphere and their approximation is supposed. The dependance between the solidification time and the sphere radius is determined on the basis of a series of matrix printouts showing the temperature distribution at specific time intervals. Expensive experimental methods are avoided.
