Sažetak
This article publishes 59 histamenoi of the Byzantine emperor Romanus III Argyrus in the Numismatic Cabinet of the Archaeological Museum in Split. The author draws attention to the appearance of various forms of graffitti on a large quantity of the coins consiedered. In the same manner, he directs attention to the fact that a large amount of such coinage was found in the area of the early Croatian state, and he explained its presence as a result of extensive economic activities in this state during the 11th century.
