Sažetak
The mechanism of multixenobiotic resistance (MXR) in aquatic organisms represents a part of natural defence system for protection from endogenous and environmental toxins. This defense mechanism can be inhibited or blocked by many chemical agents. Accumulation microplate assay using doxorubicine resistant sarcoma ascites tumor (S180) cells was modified for measuring MXR-inhibitors in environmental matrices.
