Sažetak
The paper reviews the results of a two-year study of the ontogenetic development of spring and fall generation of the species Bidens tripartitus L. The study dealt with the germability, duration of ontogenesis, growth, development, and morphological characters of the stem, leaf, inflorescence, and fruit of the species. The fact that each generation developed from seeds of the previous one, and the fact that both generations developed from the same seeds (and the same plant) made us conclude that the spring and fall generations of the species Bidens tripartitus L. are ecomorphs of seasonal type, not two different species. The fall generation itself is the pseudoneotenous form, i. e., an accelerated and abbreviated match to the spring generation.
