Sažetak
We show the vortex filament generation by laser-metal interaction in the surface shear layer on the nanosecond time scale. The interaction of a laser pulse with a nonuniform surface generates a rippled shock wave that oscillates as the shock propagates. An oscillating shock wave causes vortex cascade angle-locking splittings into a bush-like structure, and quasi-two-dimensional and three-dimensional solitons on the filaments. Because of ultra-fast cooling these structures stay frozen permanently, thus enabling one to make an a posteriori study. Numerical filtering of the micrographs has revealed the amplification of solitons with right-handed helicity and damping of the left-handed ones. It has also shown that solitons on different filaments follow dynamical laws of a different hierarchy level, acting simultaneously on the branches of the vortex filament bush.
