Sažetak
In 74 children (25 girls, 49 boys) with positive skin test (intradermal urtica 9mm) and increased specific IgE (RAST score +3 and 4) to DP ventilatory volumes (FEV, FEF5, FEF, FEF) were measured by Pneumoscreen (Jaeger, Germany). Values were compared with Polgar referent values and assessed as normal (LFN = values between #-1, 5 SD) and subnormal (LFSN-values below #-1, 6 SD). There were 54 (73%) children with LFNSN, and 20 (27%) with LFN. According to our results we found significant difference in prevalence of children with LFSN between girls 23 (92%) and boys 31 (63%) Pc0, Ol. Our results suggest that deterioration of lung function in allergic children to DP of the same intensity is significantly greater in girls than in boys, that is analyzed.
