Sažetak
A New metric method was designed in order to test the difference between neandertal and modern human zygomatic bones. Additional morphological critera were also used. The two samples proved to be different in their morphometric values. In addition, the Klassies River Mouth zygomatic bone, according to some authors to represent one of the earliest modern humans, was compared to both samples. It proved to be either intermediate or falling within the neandertal sample, therefore its modernity was rejected.
