Sažetak
Tetrakis(methyl-2-mercaptonicotinato-N, S, N', S', N'', S'', N''', S''')molybdenum(IV), has been obtained by reaction of [MoCl_2(acac)_2] (or MoCl_4• 2CH_3CN) and 2-mercaptonicotinic acid in methanol. Esterification of 2-mercaptonicotinic acid indicates the catalytic role of molybdenum. The complex molecule contain molybdenum dodecahedraly coordinated by four sulfur and four nitrogen atoms.
