Sažetak
Jihar-1 exploration well in Syria, was drilled throughout Late Creatceous and Paleogene sediments. Results of detailed micropaleontological and lithological analyses have been carried out. The biostratigraphy of the sediment succesion is analysed by means of planctonic foraminifera and calcareous nannoplanctons. As all analyses have been done from drill-cuttings, biosratigraphical boundary is based on last occurrence of the taxa.
