Sažetak
Based on its natural characteristic, lightness is maybe the most important parameter of colour management. According to literature, many experimental results have been reported which demonstrated deviation of the lightness parameter calculated from the spectral reflectance. This confirms that lightness calculations are not uniquely established in practice. In this paper three groups of coloured patches were analysed ; red, yellow and blue. Results were obtained employing Y/C*, L*/C* and Y/L* relationships and were presented in a form of graph. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that lightness evaluation by calculated L* value is more acceptable in processes that quantifying colour by means of lightness parameter.
