Sažetak
The research done in this paper is oriented towards the application of developed methodology and the research results of two projects under the auspices of the European Commission KAREN and CONVERGE in port systems as well as research and consistent defining of all the relevant theoretical assumptions and factors in the defining functional areas and development of ITS functional architecture with the aim of innovating port system activities directly dependent on improvement of port system functioning.
