Sažetak
The task of ITS in port system is to improve the processes and activities carried out in the port with the aim of establishing competitiveness of the port and maintaining that status by defining and eliminating bottlenecks as barriers to implementing advanced technologies and establishing a continuous flow of cargo through the port system. The research done in this paper is oriented towards the application of developed methodology (KAREN, CONVERGE) as well as research and consistent defining of all the relevant theoretical assumptions and factors in the development of ITS architecture in port systems.
