Sažetak
Applying two test methods: I– Laboratory according to ASTM G 65 (1994) (abrasive standard sand OTTAVA 50/70) and II – Testing in Service on components of worm press during oil extraction from sunflower seeds (abrasive SiO2xnHsO connected to opal silicate). Analyse of abrasive wear resistance on case hardened, boronized protective layers, duplex vanadized layers and by PVD procedure applied CrN and SiC+DLC protective layers. It has been established that wear resistance does not depend on surface hardness or layer depth but on quality of sub-layer stratum and sort and level of contact pressure to abrasion exposed surfaces.
