Sažetak
The traffic system plays one of the crucial roles for the economy of a country in its development and functioning. In the EU countries, the railway is ahead of other traffic branches with its respective advantages, and regarding ecology, the mass transport and energy savings, it should take the leading role in the future in surface transport. The railway should take over the main role in the transport of mass cargo at greater distances. It is precisely in this role that piggyback transport appears in the combination of the road and rail transport.
