Sažetak
Promotion is the necessity of every organised society, as well as every company which wants to have control over its image. This function plays an important role in all the transport companies due to great compettion and pressures to which they are subjected, especially because of the conditions of their service users. The positive image in public is a sign of good operation and it is important not only because of the atmosphere within the company itself but also for the good and long-term relations and co-operation between the public and the company. This paper analyses the current EU transport policy and its promotion of the railway traffic, HZ investments and the development plan for the coming period, as well as the significance and the difficulty of the promotion via the traffic portal regarding the development of HZ.
