Sažetak
This reearch was carried out during 1999 in the "Ronchi di Cialla" vineyard, in "Colli Orientali" AVA of Firuli-Venezia-Gulia (north-eastern Italy. The vineyard, managed according to the Guyot growing system, had the following characteristics: plant distances 2, 50 m between rows and 0, 80 m between wines, plant density 5 000 plant/ha, rootstock 3309C and total grass covering. Seven different grass covering typologies (Graminaceae, Leguminoseae and spontaneus) werew compared following an experimental plan based on randomized blocks with three replicates for each trial. the data obtained were submitted to Duncan's multiple range test at p=0, 05. The amin vegetative parameters (yield, cluster number and average cluster weight, weight of pruned wood, Ravaz index, vegeto-productive balance, total productive index and potetnional fertility), must quality parameters (pH, titratable acidity, sugar, augar/aciditiy ratio) and soil fungi parameters (number of spores and vesicles of Glomus sp. and Acaulospora sp.) were determined. The results show that the grass covering typology and the number of vesicles of both fungus species affect only the plant vegetative parameters, but very interrestingly, not the must quality parameters.
