Sažetak
The development of computer and telecommunication technology has been accompanied by research of the new systems which enable rationalisation of duration of performingtechnological processes. One of these systems is ITS, which provides faster, more reliable and efficient transport, i.e. carriage of passengers, goods and information in space and time with the possibility of fast selection of adequate transport subsystems (railway, road, water and air)as well as optimal selection of transport subsystem change in the process of door - to - door transport. One of the key elements of ITS systems is the establishing of a database, which is the basis for high - quality performance on the demanding advanced transportation market.
