Sažetak
Attitudes and expenditures of tourist in Croatia is the only continuous visitors survey in Croatia. The Institute for Tourism conducted this survey during the summer 2001 for the fifth time. The novelity was that the yachtsmen as an important tourism demand segment was included in the survey for the first time. In the moment when only very small amount of information about nautical tourism is available in Croatia we believe that with this survey we collected data on numerous different charactheristics about yachtsmen and their vessels that could help in developing more efficient and more successful nautical product in Croatia. In this paper main methodological issues as well as main survey results are presented allowing some conclusions about the importance and characteristics of that fast growing tourist segment in Croatia.
