Sažetak
The term "e-logistcs" has been increasingly present in the technical and scientific literature. It describes the feature of the advanced logistics in the context of electronic business. In the age of information era, and the ever stronger globalisation trends, the electronic business is gaining in significance, and the number of the users of new types of services is continuously growing. "E-commerce" is affecting strongly the development of the new logistic concepts, which are in turn the precondition for the forming of new forms of commerce. The aim of this work is to indicate the changed concepts of realising the logistic chain and to present the redefined role of the logistic service provider in that chain.
