Sažetak
Goal of this paper is evaluation of the near electric field radiated from the Yagi-Uda antenna in the presence of the conductive half-space. Electric field is evaluated from the Pocklington equation for the lossy half-space using the previously calculated results for the current distribution along the antenna. The influence of the lossy medium is taken into account through the Fresnel reflection coefficient (RC) appearing in the integral equation kernel. Electric field is numerically calculated using the weak formulation of the boundary element method (BEM). In order to avoid the quasi-singularity of the Green function, the integral equation kernel has been treated with the finite difference algorithm.
