Sažetak
In this paper, a numerical investigation of engineering properties of laminated plates and the stress-strain analysis for various lamination angles of continuous fiber composite laminates are studied. The individual continuous fiber/matrix laminas are oriented in the required directions and bonded together to form a laminate plate. By using the terms of classical lamination theory and Hooke&#8217 ; s law, the numerical estimate of the stress and strain values of three different angle-ply four-layered symmetric laminated plates for various lamination angles (+-alfa)s of laminas is carried out. In the examples, the analyzed laminates have been composed of unidirectional laminas made of three characteristic composite materials: reinforcement fibers of E-glass, graphite and Kevlar49, respectively and as matrix material epoxy resin were used. The calculated results of the stress-strain distributions in the layers for three analyzed laminated plates subjected to known the force resultant Nx are presented graphically in diagrams.
