Sažetak
The present paper describes the authentic mathematical model of thermal work of the steelmaking pan used to carry molten steel between the convertor and pony ladle in the process of continuous casting. The mathematical model enables to calculate the temperature courses of certain lining layers and heat content of the pan as well as to simulate their influence on the temperature of molten steel in the pan dependent on working operations during the working cycle.
