Sažetak
The influence of citric acid and urea on the mobility of metal ions (aluminium, copper, iron, lead, manganese and mercury) at pH 3.7 ; 5.0 ; 7.0 and 8.5 has been investigated. The model system simulating natural conditions consists of the ascending paper chromatography of metals in tap water or in 0.01 mol L-1 citric acid and urea solution as developer. The chromatographic results indicate that citric acid increases the mobilities of examined metals, while urea has no important effect on the metal ions mobilities.
