Sažetak
Knowledge of the state and trends in poverty and welfare of the population are vital to the design of a successful social welfare reform strategy. In order to develop an appropriate and effective strategy, there is a need for accurate and timely data, supplemented by sound, informative analysis. In this context, improving poverty monitoring capacity is a fundamental component of the continuing welfare reform process in Croatia.
