Sažetak
As in other processes of decision-making, information is the decisive factor in the choice of a specific destination. Survey of the quality of available tourist information was conducted according to the CATI survey method in the two biggest continental cities of the Republic of Croatia (Zagreb, n=374 ; Osijek n=40). The quality of information was measured according to the Likert's scale on a survey instument with 7 items (alpha=0, 79). The results of statistical analysis lead to the conclusion that a consumer of domicile services still prefers the information acquired through personal experience to other sources. The said is emphasized exactly becaue the survey was composed to unterstand the obstacles in informing domicile quests, them being the better informed ones when compared to foreign consumers of tourist services. Thus, the results of this survey may serve as backround in estimating distribution of information about tourist services among foreign visitors.
