Sažetak
The finite element in time domain (FET) is a fast and reliable numerical method for predicting the steady state response of nonlinear vibrating systems. The advantageous feature of this method is the straightforward determination of stability of solutions by applying Floquet theory. The vibrating systems with clearances are used to investigate the stability of steady state responses.
